About

YAC Young Adult Council Your Advocacy Counts

The Young Adult Council (YAC) is a statewide, community-led initiative that uses a hands-on, internship-style model to give young adults meaningful opportunities to engage in real-world policymaking.

YAC will consist of a small group of participants and will include a three-part educational series, with each part lasting six weeks. Sessions will be offered in-person and in a hybrid format, occurring in the Fall, Spring, and Summer. Transportation assistance, such as bus tickets, may be available for those who need support.
